It's party time! Where's the best place for a party? Alice Park!

We proudly present the best party you've ever been to party! From full-on large-scale company get-togethers and wedding receptions to private BBQ's, 50th's, 40th's and of course kids parties - we have done it all! It's the perfect family outdoor venue; fully licensed for all activities, an enclosed kids play area, and lots of space for sporting games. So what's the deal? Have a look.

Basic 'Dry' Hire

Ok, so you want to use the park but don't want to carry marquees, tables, chairs etc - so we do all that for you! You get a large marquee with a couple of trestle tables and 10 chairs, and that's your bit of the park secured for the day - It's just past the patio, so you are close enough to get that coffee you so deserve; after all, organising a party is very thirsty work, true?

All-day hire, from 11-4, is just £50. Please note that this does have to be paid in advance, and any bookings are only 'reservations' until paid for (we can't control the weather. And if I did, I wouldn't be doing this for a living now, would I?) Do what you want in there, although there are a couple of rules; Firstly, please respect that we have an alcohol licence - a celebration bottle of bubbly is fine but any other alcohol should be bought from us. If you have any particular favourite tipple you want us to get in, then that's fine - however, we always stock Thatcher's Gold, Thatcher's Haze, Stella, Doom Bar, Bierra Moretti, Brewdog punk IPA, Amstel, single-serve wines and prosecco, and gin and tonic: but give us plenty of warning and we'll get in whatever you want!

Second, we don't supply electricity to the marquee, unless of course it is booked, so any entertainment you have bought along must be acoustic. I am allowed to educate clients with soul and reggae music, but nobody else is!

Corporate Parties

In these post-COVID times, everyone needs a little fresh air to boost morale, so why not get down to Alice Park and enjoy a company get-together in the sun?

If you are based in Bath, then there really is no better choice than Alice Park! You’d be in great company too – our clients include LandC Mortgages, Horstmann Controls, Zest Hotels and Royd Withy King; all of whom have used this perfect park for a summer party.

We can cater for up to 600 people and, although numbers over 100 do need some additional considerations, our downloadable Event Management Plan (Coming soon) will guide you! Please note that, depending upon the size of the event, you may need the approval of the Alice Park Trust; however, we can assist you with that too – so there really is no excuse not to brighten everyone’s day and book your summer party here!

Party BBQ

Sounds good but can't be bothered? Then let us do the BBQ for you! It's only £12.50 per head for sausage, burger, roll, cheese, salad, coleslaw and chips with a minimum booking of 20 people. plus the marquee hire of £50. Vegetarian options are also available, however, they are cooked on the same grill. Timed to suit - let us know when you want the food served, and we work backwards from then.

Some dietary requirements are possible, please ask in advance.

Cafe Hire

Planning something a bit bigger? Why not take over the whole cafe area! We offer private hire function from 4pm until 11pm. This gives you exclusive use of the cafe (after 5pm) and the seating area and the marquees as required, offering seating for 100, including 20 under the canopy and 10 inside the cafe, and comfortable spacing for up to 250. This unique setting provides a superb base palette to create your own stunning event - and all options are available! We can then add food, drink, BBQ, DJ, entertainment etc as required. Each package is bespoke and tailored to your personal requirements, and the base hire is just £950.

  • Any use of the park must be authorised by the Alice Park Trust
  • All evening bookings are 4-11 pm (Subject to availability), Amplified music until 9pm
  • All bookings are only enquiries until full payment or deposit payment is received
  • Deposits are only accepted in cash at the cafe prior to the event
  • All bookings are made on a 'first come, first served' basis
  • We are fully licensed, and one celebration bottle of bubbly is allowed, please respect our licence
  • We frequently have DJs playing at the weekends, please be aware of this - we don't do requests unless booked!
  • Please clear up after yourselves and put all your rubbish in the bins
  • Electricity is not supplied to the marquee, all self-booked entertainment must be acoustic
  • We do not allow inflatables at any event
  • VAT will be added at the prevailing rate where applicable with corporate bookings
