So there you are, enjoying a latte and thinking to yourself – ‘wish I had a park like this, for my birthday’. Well, dream on no more young fella-me-lad, it can be yours!
We do everything here on a private basis if you want it! We do Kids Parties, Wedding Receptions, Company Family Days (tax deductable), Evening Do’s, 30th, 40th and 50th parties – we even do Poker and Film Nights! So how does this all happen I hear you say? Simple. Just drop us an email or pop in to the cafe, and ask. We are fully licensed for everything – except indoor boxing – so let’s sort it out. Can you really think of a better location?
We have a huge 8m x 4m white marquee which is yours for the day. The hire is from 12-4, but the marquee will be available from around 11am to decorate. For the simple hire, which gives you the marquee and a load of tables and chairs, it’s just £70. And that means you don’t have to carry seventeen tons of frame, canvass, tables and chairs halfway across Bath to enjoy a party!
Then we have the most popular package which includes unlimited filter coffee and basic tea for all the adults (a good way of making them stay for a bit!), sandwiches, crisps, chocolate, fruit, juice and water for up to 14 kids – which means all you need to do is bring a cake and anything wierd that we don’t sell. And that’s £150, with extra kids charged at £6 per head. The body is free.
Finally, we offer the Themed Party Options. We use both funkyarthouse.co.uk – Jo and Amy who are absolutely brilliant with the kids and will entertain them for around 90mins, with a selection of themes and styles all involving the park, collecting stuff and making things. We also use Andy – The Sportz Coach – who will guarantee to tire out the most energetic youngster you can find! Bookings
We do everything by email, so it’s all in writing and no confusion. And every enquiry is treated as a ‘provisional’ booking, until we recieve 50% of the agreed sum in advance. Until then, it’s just an enquiry. The event itself means you have the marquee from 11am until 4pm – and the only thing that happens at 4 is that we stop serving you free stuff. You can keep paying all night long, if you want to!
The most common are rounders/cricket days, which are variations on a theme. However, the key here is booking the marquee and then offering a tab for your staff. Do a little presentation (I can even help with that, those old Future habits die hard you know!) and treat your staff to a great afternoon out with the family. Works wonders!!

Now these really are our favourite events. Essentially, we hire you out the entire cafe and staff! Your own private cafe!! Obviously, it is a completely bespoke package but the cafe hire starts from around 4pm. Our restrictions are that amplified music must end by 10pm, however we can play acoustically (and nice and quietely) right through til the morning. Maximum numbers on our area are 199, but apart from that it is an amazing and unique venue.
Cafe hire starts from £950, which is cheaper than hiring a massive marquee and then trying to hire the park from Banes!
Sometimes, you want somewhere nice and intimate for private hire. Well, the cafe is perfect. Talk to Tony about your specific requirements, but the cafe – with a member of staff to serve you, can be yours from 6pm. Closing time as required, however this is a perfect venue for up to 25 people, and we are licenced for just about everything. Call me.
